Lila’s Story

Lila came into the center for a pregnancy test after she started feeling nauseous in the mornings and had gained a few pounds. She met with one of the friendly options counselors at Aloha Pregnancy Care and Counseling Centers.

B

The counselor discussed all of the options available to Lila including the abortion procedures and the potential physical and emotional risks of abortion.

D

Lila asked a lot of questions when the counselor talked about open adoption and the possibility of maintaining contact with the baby. She just wasn’t sure what she should do.

D

Though Lila didn’t like the idea of having an abortion, she knew that her mom would push her to have one when she found out that Lila was pregnant.

B

Lila left the center with a lot of information about abortion, adoption, and fetal development as well as an appointment to come back and have an ultrasound the following day.

N

Doctor Stickley, our medical director, came in and did Lila’s ultrasound. Though Lila was less than seven week along, we were able to show her that little flicker of a poppy seed-sized heart beating away in her precious baby.

n

Lila knew what she had to do. She told her mother who responded exactly the way Lila expected, insisting that Lila have an abortion as soon as possible.

m

Lila then showed her mother the ultrasound picture she was given at the center, the very first photo of the very first grandbaby Lila’s mother might have the privilege to rock to sleep.

n

I would like to announce that there will be a baby born in December that would more than likely not be able to take its first breath if it were not for Aloha Pregnancy Care and Counseling Centers!

n

Your support makes miracles like these happen every week at the center. Please don’t underestimate how important you are to the kingdom of God and the mission of the pregnancy center.

Hi’ilani’s Story

My name is Hi’ilani and I am 23 years old. I was 17 when I first went to Aloha Pregnancy Care & Counseling Center.

I got a free pregnancy test and it was positive.

I remember crying so hard and uncontrollably after hearing my test results.

k

The counselor was very understanding and comforting towards me which really helped.

K

I was so scared to go home and tell my Dad that I was pregnant, but the counselors reaffirming words built up a confidence in me that I could do it.

m

She let me know that if I needed to talk or if I had any questions that I could call her and come back to center for counseling if I needed it.

H

APCCC referred me to OBGYN Doctors in my city which was a big help.

J

I was 18 years old when I gave birth to my son Jeremiah, but I was too young to parent him. The open adoption arrangements were in God’s hands.

L

Jeremiah is now a happy and healthy 5 year old boy with lots of siblings and two parents that adore him.

M

God bless Aloha Pregnancy Care & Counseling Center!
